The work of London based photographer, Samuel Bradley and stylist Stephen Mann has been featured as a visvim WMV fashion page serialization in Subsequence since its inaugural issue. For each feature, the only direction given from the editorial team is that the piece aligns with the magazine’s theme for that volume. The visual story that was presented for this issue titled, “Derby Rotten Scoundrels” seemed to be synchronized with the recent release of visvim’s capsule collection, VISVIM MOTORS CLUB, however it was actually by complete coincidence. 

The editorial feature is overflowing with the creativity of the pair and is simply a beautifully crafted story. Not only does the scale of the props catch one’s eye, but the shots taken with the use of a crane alongside the secret messages hidden in plain sight that are not necessarily part of the focal point, there is so much to take in. We experienced some challenges with this particular shoot, due to a major delay in the arrival of a shipment from Japan forcing an initial cancellation of the original shoot, however in the end they were able to deliver us some work that was better than ever.

One of the special characteristics of this fashion editorial is that it does not detail any product information whatsoever and this comes from a desire to not cloud the beauty of the visuals with unnecessary information. For those who have not had the opportunity to view the feature yet, we hope you will enjoy every little detail that is abundant in these visuals.
