SALO, based in Oiso, Kanagawa, is a cultural center which houses a recording studio, café, and a record shop, and that also runs their own music- and food-related programs. One of these programs is “Listen Oiso!”, a series of live performances by musicians connected to SALO. For this session, there will be performances by Daysuke Takaoka, Takashi Tsuda, and Kazuya Matsumoto, musicians who integrate field recordings in unique ways into their music. This performance is a one-night-only opportunity to experience these three musicians creating new sounds which resonate with their surroundings and the venue. We hope you enjoy this music session that can only exist thanks to the meeting of people and place.
