An exhibition by Jerry Ukai, an illustrator and art director who has worked with Subsequence, is currently underway at the newly-opened space NONLECTURE books/arts located in the basement floor of Zero Gate in Shibuya.

The exhibition Zen Hiker (which takes its name from the eponymous short story serialized in Subsequence which Jerry worked on the text and art for) features many new pieces. Jerry lives between Tokyo and the foothills of Yatsugatake, and he enjoys hiking and fly fishing as part of his daily life. We hope you head to the exhibition and see Jerry’s works which are influenced by the spiritual relationship between nature and people.
