The group exhibition “The Distance of the Gaze ” is currently open at Gallery Ichibanboshi in Yotsuya San-chome. The works of Arthur Ligeon, an artist who divides his time between France and Belgium, are among those on display.

Arthur collects objects in his daily life, due to an interest in their shape, texture, or color, and uses them to make charming sculptures which seem to have their own personalities. Photographs do not do justice to how fascinating these sculptures are, so head down to the exhibition and have a look for yourself.
