“SUB Subsequence” is a photo ZINE that has been included as an addition for each issue since we published the inaugural issue of the magazine.  It is printed using a RISOGRAPH (A digital printer that operates on stencil printing technology created by RISO KAGAKU CORPORATION in 1980) consisting of photos taken for articles published in the magazine that do not get used in the printed version.  This iteration showcases photos taken during the interviews that took place on site for the story titled, “Preserving Homes in New York: The Fluxus Dream of an Artists’ Co-op”, featured in vol. 8 of the magazine.  Also included as part of the ZINE is a special A3 size tri-fold insert that becomes a mini poster.  “SUB Subsequence” will be distributed to those who purchase a copy of Subsequence vol. 8 from the official webstore.  Available while supplies last.

The upcoming 8th issue is scheduled to release on 12/13 (SAT). The theme for this issue is “A Sense of Something.” In society today we are constantly expected and being asked to achieve our goals in a “quick, easy, and cheap” way. We wanted to take the opportunity to reconsider the things that can perhaps be discovered through a more daily or regulated routine, something that can only be felt from a gradual accumulation, to think about the meaning of taking your time to approach your intended destination without taking any shortcuts. This issue was put together with these sorts of thoughts in mind.
