Kione’s Exhibition

"COLOR MOMENTS"

Subsequence

2021.08.30

The exhibition of modern quilt artist Kione, who was featured in the latest issue of Subsequence (vol. 4), is currently being held at Gallery “Clinic” in Sangenjaya. Kione has been sewing since she was a child, and while studying fine art in college, she began making quilts to make things that people could use.
In this exhibition, you can feel Kione’s flexibility in moving between logic and creation, and her firm stance on craftsmanship, as she improvises with scraps from past works and follows the moment when her favorite colors are combined to make a quilt.

Date: August 22 (Sun) – September 12 (Sun), 2021 *Reservation required during the weekdays
Location: clinic (1-33-18 Sangenjyaya, Setagaya, Tokyo)
