fischiff VERLAG

pop-up event at Fall in Nishi-Ogikubo

Subsequence

2026.03.11

Fischiff VERLAG, the record label run by Junpei Niki, the art director of Subsequence, is currently running a pop-up event at Fall in Nishi-Ogikubo. Fall is a daily goods store run by Teruoki Mishina, a contributor to Subsequence.

In addition to a two-cassette tape recording of duets by saxophonist Lol Coxhill (1932–2012) and pianist Veryan Weston (1950–), released with fischiff VERLAG last year, there will be a wide variety of music on sale, including second-hand free improvisation, jazz, ECM, and ambient records carefully selected by Niki himself. Anyone who purchases a fischiff VERLAG product will receive an original postcard (including dog, bicycle, and Kobo Abe variants) designed by Niki. They will be given out first-come first-serve, so don’t delay in coming down.

March 4, 2026 – March 29, 2026 *Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays
Opening hours: 13:00 – 19:00
