Kosuke Ide, editor-in-chief of Subsequence, has been interviewed in a special feature for “Folk Crafts and Art”, the December issue of & Premium (Magazine House).

The topic of the interview is “From Here on out: Mingei in 100 years”. The conversation covers the question of whether handicrafts like mingei possible in modern society where handiworks are disappearing and everything is being productized under capitalism. Works by American ceramic artists Otto and Vivika Heino, Guillermo Cuellar and Dolores Lewis, who have been featured in articles in previous issues of Subsequence, will also be featured in this issue.
