Experience the drawings of Toshio Arimoto (1946-1985) in ‘Journey to the Wellspring of his Songs’ at Keio University Art Space.
Arimoto known for his style of works indicatively inspired by paintings from the Renaissance created his own unique artistic world through his studies on “a sense of volume” and “lines”. His sketchbooks are said to have filled every corner of his home and atelier, the exhibition displays the countless sketches and esquisses—so vivid that you can almost imagine his hand working across the page—seeing this will no doubt invite you to enter the atmosphere and experience the world of his atelier.
