vol.2 My Archive
Dorothee and Konrad Fischer opened their gallery in Düsseldorf, Germany, in 1967, where they introduced and exhibited many experimental pieces of minimal art and conceptual art that spanned an era starting with the 1960s through the 1970s.
This exhibition already underway at the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art, showcases not only the works from the Fischers’ collection, but also precious documents detailing their correspondence with the artists as well as instructions regarding the works. Among these include the beautiful drawings for exhibition invitations, created simply by using graph paper and pen. The exhibition provides a glimpse into the moments where their intimate exchanges became works of art.
