To celebrate the publishing of Subsequence Magazine vol. 8, we will be hosting a Talk Show Event at Tsutaya Books Daikanyama (T-Site).

At the beginning of each volume of the magazine, we have regularly featured an “Editor’s note” from Editor in Chief, Kosuke Ide, who reflects on the production journey of each issue, however, this event will bring together all our main contributors and editorial staff who have been involved in the making of this publication from the very first issue as they all look back on the approximate seven year run of work they have accomplished together since 2019. 

There will be discussions on topics related to the production of the magazine that has not been talked about much at all until now, alongside perspectives on concepts as well as design, and furthermore the printing, binding and sales of the magazine.  Now that the environment and conditions surrounding magazine production has significantly changed following the first issue of the publication; we ask ourselves what it means to make a magazine now?  It is our intent to think about these things with you, our readers, while simultaneously asking ourselves the same question.  We hope you will join us for this special occasion.
