Photographer Gentaro Ishizuka, whose feature “Gold Rush Diary” is serialized in Subsequence, is part of an artistic group who have an exhibition at Pola Museum Annex in Ginza, Tokyo.

This exhibition features the work of three artists, Akiko Ueda, Gentaro Ishizuka, and Keita Morimoto, who have all taken differing approaches from the shared starting point of “In what manner does the world come into being?” As represented by the exhibition’s title, “No Oars, No Shore,”, the artists have taken a visual approach through paintings and photographs to reconstruct the indefinite concepts of time and space which are like rolling waves.
