Kasama-based potter Akio Nukaga’s online exhibition will be held at Heath Ceramics in San Francisco. As the title of the exhibition suggests, ‘A Single Line Will Lead Me’, many of Nukaga’s ceramics feature ridged patterns created using shinogi pleated work. Alongside his pleated clay forms, some of the newer techniques that he’s been developing will be on display in his first exhibition featuring one-of-a-kind items.
