A comment from Ide:
When our magazine first launched in 2019, Seikosha was one of the very first bookstores to place an order. When I was working at an art bookstore in Osaka more than 20 years ago, the owner, Atsushi Horibe, was working at Keibunsha in Kyoto and was already a well-known presence to those in the know. Seikosha is an independent bookstore with sharp insights and critical viewpoints that I always find inspiring as an editor, and they are also an entity I empathize with. I really look forward to this rare opportunity of having a leisurely chat with Mr. Horibe about producing a magazine.
